This looks like the raddest time in ever. Super creative and not too serious (which BMX is way too serious these days so this is a definite change from that). Can't wait to see the video from this one.

Office Boredom
Kind of bored at the office today. Sometimes the mind-numbing nature of the CAD designer career path that I chose gets me wondering about the interweb. Here are some videos that I found real entertaining today.
Rain has been lingering around central PA since late last week but things are looking up for the weekend ahead. Hopefully get out and snap some photographs and update the site a bit more often. Been riding a lot more since lossing the trails, which I guess can be seen as a good thing. I really miss digging and the creative outlet it creates but spending my time pedaling around has been a blast. Now if only more friends than Danny and Chris would come out and shred!!!!!
God I need to get to Austin one of these days.
Love this guys take on life. And I've always loved that Mono song.

Bust ya dome
I wouldn't potentially care as much in years past about this series that ESPN has been doing about head trauma and the recent adoption of helmets for many pros that we all admire. Hitting your head sucks and I'm reminded every day with this scare on my upper lip how unpleasant it can be. Smash your skull all day every day and I don't give a shit but for real if you have a family and people that give a shit about you take a few minutes to think about how it'll effect them. I don't remember my week and a half of being fucked up but my loved ones sure as hell do.

Here is to the end of a new beginning...
The trails as they are today are done. Though the city of Lancaster clearly had an intent to put an end to Pitney Woods, they were positive and honestly very supportive in wanting to help us in any way possible to find a more accessible and ,for them, police-able place for the BMX community in the city. And as much of an opportunity as they had to be just out right dicks to us, they were nothing but kind and I honestly think we have opened some doors to creating a legitimate place for BMX in Lancaster. The Mayor even said that as a victim of stereotype, he expected us to be a bunch of assholes and that he almost wishes they had never found the trails because though it doesn't wipe out a liability on their part, to tell us to our faces, that the trails could not remain where they are today, after having met us is something he didn't want to do. We had an incredible three year run and despite the fact that "Pitney Woods" is done The 717 Family will move on. There will NOT be another trail spot at a place that we do not have clear permission or the right-away to dig. I'll be in contact with the city from here on out to work with them to figure out a way to make this work.
I just want to take a few minutes to say thank you to my Dad and to Krofcheck for coming out today for the meeting, Matt to talk and my old man for the support...shit means the world. Fashion is a natural born salesman (who was jokingly refereed to as a politician at the meeting) but even he couldn't sway their decision. Thank you to the rest of my 717 Family, even those who have come and gone and of course those who even think trails are stupid (cause I'll be depending on you to have someone to ride with this summer). Thank you to everyone that had any involvement in making the trails some of the best times I've ever had. During all the ups and downs its been nothing shy of a kick-ass time and hopefully this only gives way to bigger and better things for BMX in Lancaster.
Cramer
This video of Justin Cramer managed to make it up on yet another BMX site. The video has been floating around for years and is ridiculous as hell.
Saw it on http://banosdistro.com/ this morning...
