Sorry for the lack of news lately. There REALLY isn't shit happening in our area these days as far as bikes are concerned. A few of us are shredding Skate-It like once or twice a week and thats about it. Massive Ray's trip coming up soon though so hopefully we'll have a photo update from that trip (if I can take some breaks from riding to shoot...its so hard to do at Ray's). January 7th thru the 9th with a TON of dudes from all over the place and every style of riding and all walks of life in attendance. Good times will be had by all for sure.

Christmas

Just want to pop on here and wish anyone that swings by our shitty site a Merry fucking Christmas. Big snow is rumored to be on its way tomorrow into Monday which is something I was not looking forward to it this early but what can ya do...other than walk down to the local pub haha. Did manage to get to smooth new spades from my pop's for Christmas, fiber glass handles and all. Pretty much as good of a trail geared Christmas present as it gets.

In other news this time of year sucks. Trails are done but not only that...most of the sites I hit while bored to tears in my home are also limited in their postings. Bummer. Dead?

Well until proven otherwise I am assuming that Brett Carper is dead. Haven't seen him in about 4 months I think. I'm pretty positive that most societies would assume he is deceased at that point. Don't worry we'll build a jump in your honor Brett and poor out a bronson for ya (only a sip...any more would simply be a waste). Fingers crossed his corpse res-erects in the spring to surface all the shit we have and all the new shit we are building.

Nothing new coming from the trails this week. Turnout of zero other than myself today at the trails means not much got done. Laid the shovel to the next lip for about two hours and it is getting close to being finished for the year at about eye level. Big day at the trails. Loads of guys came out to shred. Things are still pretty slow and fairly sketchy. Got things cleaned up and worth riding but it is definitely not what it would be this time of year had the weather not decided to bring us so much rain this fall. So after the loads of rain that hit this week the trails are nothing shy of sluggish but surprisingly not destroyed. Hopefully get some hands talked into coming and doing some digging in this unseasonable and most ground. I'd like to have the next two sets in Onlys piled before winter sets in! Finally getting some needed rain. Wish it were going to do this for about a week but sadly today and maybe tomorrow are all they are calling for. Come lend a hand digging on some new shit for the trails. New things are definitely coming for 2011!

Fall Days

Today was a good day at the trails. Nothing mentionable other than friends congregating in the woods happened but that is what made it so great. Really mellow day all-in-all made for a good time. It was close to almost jam status with the turnout being way beyond what we normally reach...I think at one point there was 9-10 guys at the trails. I'm not sure how most places work but that is OUTSTANDING for us since we normally see 3 or 4 max. Things are getting hellishly hacked up back in the woods but until a very serious rain front comes thru there really isn't much that we can do. Anyway scope the photos from the day below.

Getting Back to It

Well after my nasty spill I'm slowly coming back to life. Things are going good. Like the last post said nose is about as straight as it can get, lip is stitched up, and the bruise on my brain is well, a bruise on my brain so their isn't shit I can do about that haha. Short term memory is hit or miss but for the most part I'm good. Long road to recovery is ahead but my start is seeming to go well.

Check back here more for updates. Mostly dirt piling from this guy because riding ain't happening anytime soon haha.

Get Well Soon Trailboss

Stoner took a serious crash to the face today on the new 7th set in bb's.
We're not really sure what happened, but things were really dry and fast, so we're thinking he overshot it pretty badly, went OTB, and took it straight on the face.
No real update on his status at this point, but i'll keep you posted. For sure has a broken nose, concussion, and some lip work coming his way. He was out cold for probably 2 minutes...
so we're all hoping for the best and wishing him well.

Latest word on condition is that stoner is still in the ICU. Broken nose has been set, lip is being worked on, and he has some degree of bruising on the brain.

It makes you stop and think. The jumps we ride are big. I mean, you get used to them after a while, and they don't seem threatening anymore, and the flow is good and things ride right all year. But at the end of the day, when it comes to their size, it doesn't change. Just keep that in mind. Just because it feels easy doesn't mean it won't wreck your shit.

I AM TURBOSTOKED!

Well we did a little bit of filming this evening with the Turbospokes! A few things happened. 1. Danny apparently dialed in flairs and did one on the 6th Only lip (no joke) 2. the newest set in BB's got cleared after some tweaking 3. finally got wings and realized that Danny and myself are the only people that aren't total pussies.

Longer and longer helmet cam

The helmet cam videos are getting a bit longer each and everytime...now that the 7th Only is sending like a dream Eric did it up big wheel style and broke out the helmet cam. Here is the video to follow. More soon.

Build Up

Decided to add another foot to the top of the 6th Only...and WOW did it make a difference. We can sail the 7th set so much easier now! Could't be happier. Hopefully a revamp of that 7th lip coming soon. Trails are running fast and smooth. They look rougher than I'd care for them too but I'm not going to waste my time fixing anything if they are riding great.
Ax is finally sharpened so hopefully before the end of summer/beginning of fall we'll get that crazy lip in BB's running. Just have tons of roots to chop out to finish the landing.

Anyway here is a quick snap Matt took with his new phone of Rob stacking on that landing. Expect many more hipster-ass style photos on the blog over the next few months haha

In my absence Fashion has taken a step in and tried to keep everyone entertained with his "witty" one liners and clever jokes regarding my god-given chest hair; however, he apparently isn't exactly skilled in editing his posts as the photos somehow turned out incredibly small and he managed to post the same paragraph twice, I guess in case you missed it before the photos you can catch it after haha. Maybe if he'd get off his ass and stop being a giant vagina daydreaming of building himself a faggy penny-farthing he could actually get the Gtown and Pitney Woods edits done.

Huge delay lately in updates, and i'm sorry for that.
Sunday we rode all the lines, and everything was running beautifully.
The 7th B.B. will be running in no time, and its going to make you defecate in your pants, no lie.
The 7th Only finally got sessioned by Stoner, Myself (fashion) and The Pro. Its awesome when you hit a monster set that no one has really blasted yet, and it feels like its been there for months getting ridden every weekend. Nothing needs changed on it at all.

Well, our usual site moderator Stoner got a new bad ass job making syringes for heroin addicts or something similar, and although this involves him making dick dollars, it also means a lack of blog access during company hours... so I apologize for the lack of updates.

The east has been getting murdered with Tstorms like we've never seen, which are awesome to watch or to get some action during, but really hard on the trails. Thank god for tarps...

We got things running amazingly well last night, and honestly the trails haven't felt this solid all year (that could be because i normally forget to air up my tires and last time i rode i had literally 25psi...)

Rob actually sent the 7th BB, which was awesome because it sent him straight up to the stratosphere and returned him six inches deep in a sprocket case. He's a trooper. That line will be dialed by the weekend hopefully, and we'll get that lip tricked out to make it an epic sender. ( I used the word Epic just to piss off stoner, he hates it.)

Come on out sunday. Eric is leaving for Ohio because he's a lover and Ohio is for lovers. Going to be a great sesh, with corn, beer, and trails. Nothing else in life is needed.
