The second is a little video I stole from The Come Up. This one is simply some more food for thought. This seems to be an all to often occurrence in our sport. And the topic comes up again and again and again but recent events make it seem like more of a reality. Helmet or no helmet? Again I'm not here to preach about wearing one...in fact your choice to wear one is your own business but I didn't and will have that regret in the form of a scare on my face and the lose of about a weeks worth of my memory and more importantly putting those I love thru complete hell having to worry about and take care of me for a week. I was lucky enough to have supportive parents and a kick-ass girlfriend that were there for me (and amazing insurance to cover the expenses related to a head injury). But if amazing riders like Aitken and now Yeagle can fall victim to a spill then keep in mind that you definitely can!
