Fall Fun at the Boneyard Jam

Boneyard Hallween Jam is next weekend (flyer is below) and this video surfaced just today of the summer jam.  The one next weekend is sure to please so get your bike and get on out.  Hopefully this nasty bitch Sandy doesn't wash out too much of the trails and this event can happen and good times can be had.

Went on a sweet little hike with Brett today to enjoy some of Mother Nature's beautiful fall goodness.  We took the dogs along and had a real kick ass time watching them romp around in the creek.

Gtown Jam Shots

Photos from the recent Gtown Jam.  Turned out to be a real kickass time.  There are more photos from better photographers on Facebook but these are what I managed to shoot.  Great time.  I was too busy enjoying the show to get shots of the stunt demo that went down and the impromptu metal show that took place even later in the evening.  Hope everyone that came had as much fun as I did.  Until next year!

A Good Day for Trails.

Saturday, October 20th was a pretty sweet day for trails.  The Gtown Fall Jam and the Catty Woods Halloween Jam both took place.  I went to Gtown Jam but I can bet money that Catty was a wicked time as well.  Two edits below show the good times you missed if you didn't go to either of these events.  My own personal Gtown photos coming soon.
Fall is pretty kickass.

Gtown BMX Fall Jam Reminder

Rob doodled this little sketch up and posted on the Facebook event for this weekends Gtown Fall Jam. He's the 717 Family's little artist. Looks cool and got me amped for Saturday's festivities and reminded me to post a friendly reminder on the blog. So peep the flyer for details.

Mini-ramp Jam

Not going to waste too much space talking about the jam at Stevie's ramp.  It was a simply amazing day of shredding an incredible ramp.  Couldn't have asked for the weather to get any better than it did.  Lots of crazy good riding and amazing times with friends.  Thanks to Steve and his family for hosting us and to everyone that came and rode.  We'll be doing these on a way more regular event.  Super mellow backyard sessions are the BEST.

Stevie got suited so fresh for this event.  What a host!

Winter at Rays

I got the image below from Dustin Chubb.  Its a shot from Rays.  I know they are constantly updating and can't WAIT to head up there this winter.  This little blaster into the Red Bull berm is sure to please.  Can't wait to see what else is in store to get us through the cold months.

Staley posted up a flyer for The Boneyard's Halloween Jam that's scheduled for November 3rd. Really pumped he's having it in November since October is already a CRAZY month. Get your most ridiculous costumes ready and toss on your party pants cause this is sure to be a fun time of riding and antics (I hear the crazies come out after the sun goes down). Free to ride/party but naturally donations are welcome since trail upkeep (with tarps and tools) ain't free.

Work has been crazy shitty as of late. Its about 50/50 that I could lose my job. Motivation is real hard to find when you don't have much confidence in your job security. I'm gunning for severance pay and a steady unemployment check so that I can finally have the proper motivation to start some new trails. I'd much rather spend 8 hour days in the woods making (dirt) stacks than 8 hour days in a cubicle making (paper) stacks. I'm already learning to budget myself by downgrading my beverage selection from pricey microbrews to PBR and Yuengling.
